Agenda, 1967-1982; and minutes, 1939-1988; with gaps spanning 1945-1946, 1948-1960, and 1962-1965. The ABC Board promotes temperance and regulates the production, transportation, distribution, drinking, and sale of alcoholic beverages in Ala. The primary topics of the Board meetings were hearings regarding the granting of liquor licenses and hearings regarding possible violations of Ala. liquor laws. The Board could restrict, suspend, or revoke the liquor license of violators. It also dealt with some personnel matters.
